Amiens, September 16. -- The flying saucer at Estrées-Deniécourt, near Amiens, turned out to be a prank by a few electricians from a local company, who admitted they had wanted to have fun at the expense of the press and the gendarmerie.
A report was filed against them for contempt of court, and a formal complaint was sent to the public prosecutor in Amiens.
Abbeville, September 16. -- In Abbeville, Mrs. Bonnard, a 79-year-old widow, stated that she had seen a "flying pot" illuminated and silently gliding in the direction of the sea. She strongly denied being the victim of a hallucination.
