"Cigars" and "saucers" sighted again

Saint Brieuc. -- Several people claimed to have seen, 300 to 400 meters away from them, last night around 8:45 p.m., a "flying cigar" at an altitude of about 50 meters. The craft, they said, was about 15 meters long and intermittently lit up with pink glows. It moved without making any sound.

Mrs. Henry, a farmer in Guesnou (Finistère), stated that she saw on both Thursday and Friday evenings at the same time, a mauve cylindrical object in the sky moving silently from west to east.

Lille. -- Mr. Anicet Corneille, an agricultural worker, reported seeing last night in Comines, a cigar-shaped object 8 to 10 meters long and 3 meters wide, flying at around 40 meters in altitude and emitting a bright violet light. After flying over the town for a few seconds, the object reportedly disappeared into the sky.

Mr. Corneille's statements were confirmed by a motorist from Tourcoing who was passing through Comines.

Montceau-les-Mines. -- Two bricklayers, Mr. Romain Sebastiani and Mr. Buratto, both amateur cyclists, said they saw, on the edge of the road from Blanzy to Montceau, a craft taking off with a shrill whistling sound. The object, they said, was cigar-shaped, dark yellow in color, about three meters long and 60 to 80 centimeters in diameter.

A "saucer" near Seurre?...

A resident of Le Meix, a village near Seurre, Mr. Lucien Minet, 19 years old, reported another strange sighting. He was standing on his doorstep around 9 p.m. when he saw a green light in the sky moving slowly. A whistling sound accompanied the sighting, which lasted about fifteen seconds. The young man had time to call his mother, who also witnessed the phenomenon.

An "orange disk" in the Nièvre

Nevers. -- A representative of a major insurance company, along with several residents of Corbigny, saw on Friday evening around 7 p.m., a luminous orange disk moving through the sky. It alternately descended and ascended from left to right.

These witnesses, all deemed credible, observed the phenomenon for quite some time before the luminous disk disappeared vertically behind a hill.
