One of our readers, Miss Bartet, a well-known painter and a resident member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Fine Letters of Dijon, was able to observe a luminous celestial phenomenon in Longeault on Thursday, November 4, and made an accurate sketch of it. We reproduce it above. It was 7:28 a.m.; the phenomenon was moving from east to west (above, from right to left), at an altitude of approximately 800 meters.
