Rome, September 19. -- Italy, in turn, has received visits from "flying saucers," or rather from a "flying half-cigar," if we are to refer to the shape of the craft seen by thousands of people, including military personnel belonging to aeronautical observation services.
Let us say right away that while the presence of the mysterious object is indisputable, its nature could not be identified, and no conclusions can be drawn from the observation of the phenomenon.
Here are the facts.
Friday afternoon in Rome, many onlookers had their eyes to the sky: "A flying saucer! — No, it looks more like a half-cigar!"

Vichy, September 19 — Numerous residents of Vichy reported having observed, during the previous night, a luminous craft shaped like a saucer moving rapidly through the sky.
