A new credible testimony has been added to the Gard department's file on "flying saucers." One of these mysterious craft was seen on Sunday evening, around 8 p.m., at dusk above the Saint-Felix point in Anduze, behind which it seemed to land.
The main witness was our fellow citizen Mr. Nicetta Edmond, brother of the well-known runner and a fishmonger on rue Benoît-Malon. He was on the terrace of his mother-in-law's house, Mrs. Bordarier, in the company of this relative, Mrs. Nicetta, and Mr. Marcel Aimée, when their attention was caught by a large circular mass that appeared to be rotating on itself, showing alternating blue and red lights.
The craft was then almost motionless above Saint-Felix point, but soon began descending with a large swaying motion, like a falling leaf, and soon disappeared behind the hill, which is quite elevated. The sighting lasted several minutes.

waited until complete nightfall to land in open countryside. He then kept watch for a long time from his vantage point, trying to see the saucer take off again, but in vain.
However, he was able to observe it long enough to be certain that it was neither a known aircraft, nor a star, nor a meteor, nor an optical illusion.
